The title's not quite true - this is not an entirely new project. I have been playing at making various things and refurbishing bits of furniture for a over a year now, but 2012 is the time I want to make a proper go of it. I have lots of plans whizzing round my head and it's hard sometimes to stay focussed and make progress, so for the last few weeks I have been trying to home in on what it is I want to do.
The basic idea of the business is that I refurbish or make new things out of unwanted / damaged items - recycling, upcycling, refurbishing, revamping.
Ultimately no restrictions on what I can make out of what, but to start with I thought it was important to focus on a few products. So for the start of 2012 I will be concentrating on
Coat racks - made from old furniture / reclaimed wood
Jewellery - made from scraps of wood and old crockery
Shelves - made from old furniture / reclaimed wood
